🐡 Umibe 🐡
Umibe is a new restaurant set up alongside the Usami highway overlooking the ocean where you can enjoy Ito’s famous regional specialty, dried fish or himono!
They’re open for breakfast as early as 7:30am and stay open for lunch service until mid-afternoon.
The interior is super casual with table, counter and terrace seating for when the weather is nice, which is pretty much always is in the summer in Ito🌞
We recommend their bestseller, the Umibe set, which features their delicious dried fish, steamy white rice, fish broth soup and 3 side dishes that change daily.
After falling in love with the fish, you can pop over to Marutatsu, which is literally 2 steps away, to see what other varieties of dried fish and seafood they have all wrapped up and ready for you to take home as a souvenir.
