Happy Hanami Season!
At Sakura Village, located at the base of Mount Omuro Park, there are about 40 different varieties of over 1500 different cherry blossom trees!
Every year, a “Cherry Blossom Night Viewing Event” is held here to coincide with the blooming of the Somei Yoshino variety of cherry blossoms.
We definitely recommend this for a daytime stroll but even more for a nighttime photoshoot because the lights juxtaposed with the nighttime sky make for some EXCELLENT photo opportunities 🙂
